Now this particular kit from CURT has a 2-5/16 inch ball and a 30,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's how much weight it's rated to pull. Now CURT does offer a different kit of this with a 38,000 pound weight capacity, so if you need a little bit more, you can check that out. If you have the towing prep package, this is the easiest way to add a gooseneck ball to your truck and be able to tow a gooseneck trailer because it's just a drop-in system. Very easy to do, and when it's not in use, you can take it out and leave nothing behind, so there's full access to your truck bed. Today we have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500, and we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the B&W gooseneck turnoverball hitch. Now, the B&W hitch is going to be a great option to be able to tow gooseneck trailers down the road safely, but in addition to gooseneck trailers, B&W also makes the companion fifth wheel hitch whether you want the slider or the stationary one, they're both going to drop down into the square shank of your gooseneck. You'll take your ball out, drop your fifth wheel hitch down in it, it locks down to your bed so that you're safe to tow your fifth wheel trailer too. That's why I like the B&W hitch so much is because it's so versatile. They have other accessories that you can use too, but you can only use them with the B&W gooseneck hitch. more

Hey everybody, Ryan DY trailer today on our 2022 Chevy Silverado, 2,500 we're gonna be checking out the Curt gooseneck plate adapter for and embed foot wheel rails. Whenever I first saw this adapter play at least that's kind of what I call it. I actually thought it was really cool cause it gives you a great way to have your existing fifth wheel rails and essentially turn what you got into a goose snack and no time at all. Really this thing just drops right in and pins in. And what I like about it, it's really lightweight small. Doesn't take up a lot of space and I mean, what more what more could you ask for there honestly and I feel like this is a good solution, cause let's say if you have, obviously, if you already got the rails you're pulling a fifth field trailer well maybe end up getting another trailer. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the CURT gooseneck under-bed kit on a 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500. Now, this is what your gooseneck under-bed is going to look like installed. And really, all the hardware is supplied and it just uses this series of brackets to kinda clamp around the frame. You will have to fish wire two of the bolts, and the only drilling required is going to be making the actual hole where your receiver's gonna be, and then also the holes for the safety loops. more

Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT gooseneck ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit. Let's start out with the ball. This is going to be a two and five 16 inch ball and it's gonna make it really, really quick and easy to remove it. All you have is this little lever here and you just need to rotate it at a certain spot and then it's super easy to take out, which is really nice. This is gonna work with your Chevys GMCs, but also if you have a buddy who has a puck system on their Nissan or Ford, it's gonna work with that as well. I like products that are gonna work with multiple different types of trucks, because if someone offers to haul the trailer might as well as be like, hey, use my kit, so you can haul it, not me. more

And this is what our gooseneck ball looks like when it's installed. We've currently got it in the attachment position where you're ready to hook up to your gooseneck. But you can pull the handle to release your ball here, and you can pull this out and flip it over when you're not gonna haul your trailer to restore full truck bed access here. So you can see with our ball out of the way, this is pretty flush with the bottom of our bed, and our safety chain attachments as well are also pretty flush on the bottom. more

Having this setup is going to allow you to utilize your bed space when you're not pulling a trailer. But on the other side of that, it's going to give you your gooseneck hookup, and you can also install a fifth wheel slider with this same setup. The benefit of having this setup being able to use either a fifth wheel or gooseneck is maybe you pull a gooseneck trailer through the week, and then you have a fifth wheel that you want to pull on the weekends. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be installing BMW's turnover ball under bed gooseneck, part number BWGNRK1016. Now this is what our goose neck is going to look like when it's installed. It's going to allow you to hook up to your gooseneck trailer, and has a tongue weight of 7,500 pounds, and a gross towing capacity of 30,000 pounds. The safety chain connections are retractable and spring loaded, so when you're not using them they spring down to be flushed, stay out of your way. When you're ready to use them you can just pull them up and make your connection. The included ball mount can be flipped over and stored upside down, and this way you've got full truck bed access. more

It's going to have 6 mounting locations, that attach to those cross members underneath the bed.What sets this hitch apart from others, is the balls going to stay on the hitch. Today in our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD we'll be having a look at and installing the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Complete Hitch, Part Number RP30158-68. Here's what our Under-Bed Gooseneck and Fifth Wheel System looks like installed. Now what sets this system apart from other systems on the market is that this basically turns your truck from a non-factory prep package to a factory prep package. And what that means is if you had bought a truck off the lot that had the factory prep package installed, you would have these four pucks right here to drop in a Fifth Wheel or a Fifth Wheel slider into them. In the middle you would have your standard 2 5/16 Gooseneck ball that you can install into place for your Gooseneck trailer. If you didn't have the factory prep package on your truck when you bought it this basically converts it to it so you have the cleanest look and the most ease of use when you're using it to tow a Fifth Wheel or a Gooseneck trailer. Today on our two016 Chevrolet Silverado two500HD, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CURT Double Lock Flip and Store Under-bed Gooseneck hitch with installation kit, part number C607-604. Here's what it looks like once it's installed in the truck. You can see from underneath here, you're able to see it's key feature, which is the double locking pins on the locking mechanism. That's going to help provide added security for when the ball's in place. When I pull the locking mechanism out, you can see the two pins that are used to help secure the ball into the hitch. Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to review an install, the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part number 9465-56. Now, here's what our gooseneck looks like once it's installed. We have no ball installed at this time and our pin is in the locked position as we can see it down through the Gooseneck throat. Now if we pull the handle out, put it in the locked position it will hold it out, allowing us to put our Gooseneck ball in place. Note there's a small nipple here on the Gooseneck throat that will line up with the groove in our Gooseneck ball. We can take our ball and drop it into the Gooseneck hitch. more

Gooseneck Hitch Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevy Silverado 2500 we'll be installing the Blue Ox Diamond Hitch Underbed Gooseneck, part number DH1314. We'll go through operation of our new Blue Ox gooseneck ball. The ball has this special design groove that will line up with a nipple that sticks out inside the gooseneck throat. We'll line it up, push in on the lock, and twist and lock the gooseneck ball into place. Then, we can unlock it by pressing on the spring-loaded lock, twist and unlock the ball from its position. Then when keeping it in a stored position, we'll simply turn it over, again line up the groove, and drop it into place. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD crew-cab, we're going to be installing the B&W turnover ball under-bed Gooseneck trailer hitch with custom installation kit, part number BWGNRK1012. Now, let's go over the operation of how the ball works. You'll pull the handle out here in the driver side wheel-well, rotate it forward. That's in the locked open position that will allow you to either put the ball in the up or flip it over and put it into the store position. Once that's done, you'll go ahead and twist the handle and release, and that will lock it back into place. Now, we'll go ahead and pull the handle in the driver side wheel-well to the unlock position. We can then install out ball. With the ball down in the upright position like this, we'll go back to the wheel-well where we'll release the handle into place locking the ball into place with the pin. more

Reese Fold-Down Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Alright today on a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 crew cab we're going to install part number 8339-4456. This is a fold down gooseneck trailer hitch, to start out our install we'll go ahead into the truck rail. To do that we're going to go ahead and remove each shield for the spare tire, now the spare tire shield is easy, just 2 bolts to remove and set to the side. Then we'll go ahead and lower our exhaust, to do that we'll use a strap at the very end of the tip to help support it, while we go ahead and take off the rubber hangers. To remove the rubber hangers we'll spray them down with some lubricant then pry them off using a pry bar. To give us extra leverage we'll go a head using a block of wood as well. more

B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we'll be installing the B and W turnover ball under bed goose neck trailer hitch, part number BWGNRK1012. Now we'll begin first by lowering down the spare tire and sitting it out of the way for now. Next, we'll go ahead and remove each of the rear wheels and sit those aside for now as well. Next we're going to go ahead and remove the fender liners. To do this we'll need to remove four screws and three push fasteners. Now we'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the driver's side. Next we'll go ahead and secure the exhaust using a safety strap. more
